A UK design company has at long last developed the Powerdesk, "The world's first truly effective integration of computer and workstation." That means put away the Office Depot particle board, 'cause...

jacuzzidvd.jpgSoak yourself until your fingertips are like prunes with this La Scala bathtub with a wide-screen TV and DVD player on board. Complete with a floating remote control, the tub is big enough for you and your honey, and offers 10 adjustable water jets to make you feel good all over while you’re getting your TV on. Or whatever else.

A great idea to keep you constantly entertained, because you wouldn’t ever want to be just sitting there relaxing in a quiet, serene, mini-sea of tranquility, alone with your thoughts, would you?

The World Time Clock by Charlotte Van Der Waals is a deceptively simple idea that accomplishes its task with style and grace. There’s an unnumbered clock face on the side of this 12-sided cylinder, and you simply roll the clock over until the time zone you’re looking for is on top. The names of two cities are etched on each of the 12 sides of this unique object, which makes no mention of AM or PM, allowing it to cover all 24 of the world’s time zones. Available in two different styles and three colors for $75.

051027samsungpocketimag Ladies (and one or two gents), I think we have a projector breakthrough! Instead of one very inefficient and expensive bulb, here we have a projector which takes its light from three long-life (10,000-hour) super-bright LEDs. The brightness isn't quite as high as your average projector - but this is new stuff and it's a dinky little thing, measuring only 128 x 85 x 53mm.

So now when walking into an unfamiliar meeting room to give a presentation, you no longer need to faff about with bizarre power connectors (it can run off its own battery - pictured) or temperamental office projectors that keep asking for filter cleaning - bring along this little beauty instead.
